More Reasons to Vote: Election Day Freebies and Promos
Kelly Phillips Erb, Contributor

A man shows 'I voted' sticker as others vote for midterm general elections at a polling station in Silver Spring, Maryland, on November 2, 2010.
According to the U.S. Census, during the last significant election (2010), the observed percentage of age-eligible citizens who voted in the United States was 46%. Less than half.
Let's not let that happen this year.
To give you lots of incentives, many companies are giving away freebies or hosting fun promos on Election Day. Here's a list of those promos that I know are running:
Marinello Schools of Beauty- a national brand of beauty schools with 62 locations nationwide - is offering complimentary haircuts November 5-9, 2012 to guests
who show an "I Voted" sticker and make an additional in-store service or retail purchase. For a list of Marinello Schools of Beauty campus locations, hours of operation or additional information
call 800-648-3413 or visit www.marinello.com.
So there you go... lots of incentives and fun for voting. So GO VOTE! It’s 2012. You got this.
